Pairing The New Yorker's School Covers


The recent edition of the New Yorker features a post-Sandy Hook cover with parents waiting worried outside of the school as children return from the holiday. It is another great cover that is all the more powerful when compared against the September cover that shows the kids entering school, this time from outside, as parents are captivated in conversation, their devices or other happenings away from their children.

Both covers were drawn by Chris Ware.
