Art Innovation in Kenya

I mentioned the project Makeshift Magazine here before, but it is worth mentioning it again.  They are looking at innovation in cities around the world.  This video features Nairobi artist Cyrus Karibu.  He does a series of work.  Most notable of which are his glasses which look a bit silly when he wears them but are compelling when seen together hanging on the wall.

The reason for mentioning Makeshift is because they are telling stories of innovation and creation by people that are often seen as the recipients of external innovations.
