Just to note: your survey doesn't let respondents leave any questions blank. I don't use Twitter, but I had to enter an answer to that question in order to vote in the other categories.
Michael - Thanks for the suggestions. Aid Watch is amongst the Blog of the year noms. Too late to add Million Shirts, but that is a good suggestion and too bad someone did not nominate it before.
Anonymous - I did set it intentionally to force people to vote in every category. The hope is to encourage some to look around when they are unsure as to who they want to choose. It is mostly my hope that this can begin to get people (including myself) to look at aid blogs and conversations that they might have missed.
Sam, I agree with you. They should definitely have been amongst the best new blogs. I had nominations open for about two weeks and went off what people suggested with some attempts to add what I thought might have been missing. Sadly, they were overlooked by quite a few people.
Sorry, first time around has had quite a few errors. Hopefully, I can correct a lot of them next time around. Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
I agree that voting for a single cat would be good. Thats a lot to familiarize yourself with before voting. e.g. if you've not been following Twitter much, knowing whose 'best' is not an easy job to do well.
Phil, I understand your concerns and criticisms. Admittedly, I hope that this can gently force people to explore a bit beyond what they usually read and see in the world of aid and social media. As it stands, I am going to leave it the way it is since we are so close to the end of voting and I have held the line.
I will chalk this up to lesson learned and will try to think of new ideas for next year. Any suggestions are welcome, but I want to be sure to encourage people to explore what is offered and not just check a box for what they usually read.

Any chance of more categories?
Suggestions:
"Best Overall Aid Blog"
I would nominate Aid Watch
"Best Aid Related Story"
I would nominate the Million T-Shirt turnaround.

Why can't we nominate others? HRI is probably the surprise of the year.
While others rant HRI is fun and making the same points.

Hope you can reconsider.
